Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made with OnePath Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a trip or participating in any travel experience, you agree to these Terms. All trips take place outside the European Union, and local conditions may differ significantly from EU standards. Travelers must understand and accept the inherent risks of international travel.

 

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfers​

  • Payment links

  • Revolut

  • Wise

  • Any other method listed in the registration form
     

Customers are responsible for bank charges, currency conversion fees, or foreign transaction fees.
 

2.2 Payment Options
A) Full Payment at Booking

You may choose to pay the entire trip cost upfront. Your booking is confirmed once the full payment has cleared and you receive written confirmation.

B) Deposit + Remaining Balance

You may secure your spot by paying a non-refundable deposit:

  • Deposit amount is specifiedon the trip page.

  • Remaining balance due by the deadline stated on the trip page.

  • Your booking is confirmed only when the deposit is received.

  • If your balance is not paid by the deadline, your booking may be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.

C) Installment Plan (Split Payments)

Some trips may offer an installment plan, which will be stated clearly on the trip page.

  • The number of installments and due dates will be specified in your confirmation.

  • The first installment acts as a non-refundable deposit.

  • Installments must be paid on or before their respective due dates.
     

If an installment is missed:

  • We may cancel your booking

  • You may lose all payments made to date

  • Your spot may be released to another participant
     

Installment plans are not available for last-minute bookings unless specifically stated.

 

2.3 Changing Payment Options

Once you select a payment option (full payment or deposit), you cannot switch to another option after.
You cannot retroactively request a portion of your full payment to be treated as a deposit.​
 

2.4 Payment Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed only when:

  • Your payment (full or deposit) has been successfully received, and

  • You have received written confirmation from OnePath Travel.

2.5 Cash Payments 

Cash is accepted as a method of payment for deposits, installments, and any booking-related payments, both before the trip starts and during the trip.

Cash may be used for:

  • Deposits and installments for your trip balance

  • Optional on-site activities

  • Personal expenses

  • Additional services offered locally
     

All cash payments must be made directly to an authorized OnePath Travel representative/ Cash sent via third parties or mail is not accepted.

Note: Any cash payment arrangements must be clearly documented and agreed upon in writing by OnePath Travel.

2.6 Cancellation and Cash Payments:
  • If you select cash as your intended payment method and later cancel, cancellation fees will apply according to the trip’s payment schedule or total price, regardless of whether you have paid the cash portion in full

  • Selecting cash as a payment method does not exempt you from cancellation fees or reduce the cancellation charges applicable to your booking.

  • You remain liable for any cancellation fees based on the trip price and payment structure you chose (full payment, deposit, or installments), regardless of whether you have paid the cash portion or not.

2.7 Currency

All prices are listed in EUR, unless stated otherwise. If you pay in another currency, you are responsible for any conversion fees.

3. Transfer of Reservation

If you cannot travel, you may transfer your reservation to another person under these conditions:

  • You must arrange the replacement traveler yourself

  • Request must be submitted at least 3 weeks before departure

  • All third-party suppliers must approve the transfer

  • An administrative fee may apply

  • Replacement traveler must meet all requirements of the trip

4. Cancellation by Participant

Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email or WhatsApp).

Cancellation fees:

  • More than 4 weeks before departure: The deposit amount ​

  • Less than or equal to 4 weeks before departure: 100% charge of the entire amount

  • After the trip begins: no refunds
     

No partial refunds or credits for unused services.

 

5. Cancellation by OnePath Travel

We may cancel a trip due to:

  • Force majeure (Section 13)

  • Government restrictions

  • Safety concerns

  • Supplier issues

  • Insufficient participants
     

You may choose:

  • A full refund, or

  • Transfer to another trip of comparable value (if available)
     

We are not responsible for incidental expenses (flights, visas, insurance, etc.).

 

6. Pre-Trip Requirements

6.1 Travel Insurance (Recommended)

We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Hospitalization abroad

  • Lost luggage

  • Flight disruptions

  • Trip cancellation due to illness

  • Emergency evacuation or repatriation
     

If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept full responsibility for any resulting expenses.
OnePath Travel is not liable for these costs.

 

6.2 Medical Disclosure

You must disclose any medical or physical condition that could affect your participation.
Information is kept confidential according to our Privacy Policy.
 

6.3 Passports, Visas & Vaccinations

You are responsible for:

  • Valid passport

  • Visa arrangements

  • Meeting entry requirements

  • Required or recommended vaccinations

  • Complying with destination-country laws
     

Failure to meet these requirements does not entitle you to a refund.

 

7. Risks, Liability & Responsibilities

7.1 Assumption of Risk

Traveling outside the EU involves risks such as:

  • Illness or injury

  • Different safety standards

  • Political instability

  • Weather events

  • Local infrastructure limitations

  • Wildlife and environmental hazards
     

You voluntarily assume these risks by joining the trip.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our liability for direct losses caused by our negligence is limited to the total price of your trip

  • For services provided by third parties, we act only as an intermediary
     

We are not responsible for:

  • Airline delays

  • Lost luggage

  • Acts or omissions of hotels, guides, or transport operators

7.3 Participant Responsibilities

Participants must:

  • Follow safety instructions

  • Behave respectfully

  • Assess their own fitness level

  • Make informed decisions

  • Not endanger themselves or others
     

We may remove a participant from the trip without refund if their behavior threatens the group.

7.4 Medical Expenses

All medical expenses incurred abroad are the participant’s responsibility.

 

7.5 Liability Waiver

By participating, you release OnePath Travel from claims related to:

  • Injuries

  • Accidents

  • Third-party services

  • Environmental factors

  • Ordinary negligence (where permitted)

8. Photographs & Media

We may use photographs or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear, inform your trip leader on the first day. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

 

9. Itinerary Changes

Itineraries may change due to:

  • Weather

  • Local conditions

  • Transport issues

  • Safety decisions

  • Supplier availability
     

Major changes will be communicated in advance when possible.
Minor adjustments do not entitle participants to a refund.

 

10. Pricing & Information Accuracy

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or update information at any time. Currency fluctuations, taxes, or supplier costs may affect prices.

 

11. Complaints Procedure

​We believe in open communication. Please let us know in case of a complaint:

  • During the trip: notify your trip leader immediately.

  • After the trip: email info@travelonepath.com within 14 days. We will respond within 30 days.

 

12. Third-Party Suppliers

Your contract for flights, accommodation, transport, or activities arranged through third parties is with the supplier, not with OnePath Travel.

 

13. Force Majeure

Force majeure includes circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • War or political unrest

  • Epidemics/pandemics

  • Government restrictions

  • Strikes

  • Severe weather
     

In such events, we may cancel, modify, or postpone the trip. Our liability is limited to a refund of payments made minus non-recoverable costs (e.g., deposits paid to suppliers).

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with your booking confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and OnePath Travel.
